FAQ

We are happy to help but do check out our answers to some of the questions our customers ask us.

Can I order from overseas?
Yes, we sell and ship our personalised jewellery worldwide.

Important general advice: International deliveries outside the EU may be subject to customs clearance. These charges can include import duty, handling fees, local taxes and other costs. Jamie London is not responsible for these costs or for any delays caused by Customs or other government authorities. Failure to pay these charges will mean that your parcel will be returned to the UK. Should this happen, your original shipping charges will be forfeited as well as any other associated return costs. If the cost of return is greater than the value of the order then the whole cost of the order will be forfeited. Please make sure that you understand what process and costs may apply for delivery to your country.

Can I order by phone?
Of course, we’d love to speak to you. Call our Studio between 9-5pm Monday – Friday +44 (0)20 8457 1313

What payment methods do you accept?
Our secure website is able to accept credit cards from all over the world (currency exchanges will be calculated by your credit card issuer). You can also use PayPal to pay for your goods.

How long will it take for my jewellery order to be processed?
We aim to dispatch orders the same day (unless otherwise stated in the product description) that they are placed, even if they have been personalised. If you place your order by 1pm and choose our Express Service you can receive your goods by the next day.

If the item is not in stock, due to the intricacy of some designs, please allow a few working days or in some cases a week to make your piece to the highest quality and standard it deserves. Some pieces may take longer to make than others, so please be patient as each piece is special and we want you to love it! If there are any unexpected delays, we will be in contact with you.

How and when will my purchases be delivered?
UK Standard deliveries are made with Royal Mail via. This usually takes 2-3 working days from dispatch.

International deliveries normally take around 7 days but this can be more depending on your location.

A signature may be required on delivery of your order. If you are out, your postie will leave you a card detailing where the parcel has been left (either with a neighbour or at your local Royal Mail collection office) or how to arrange for a re-delivery. We are not able to leave messages for your parcel to be left in a safe place with this delivery method.

If your order has been left for you to collect at your local Royal Mail collection office it will be held there for approximately 1 week when it will be returned to us. The redelivery of this parcel will be at the expense of the customer.

More information about shipping can be found here

How will my order be packaged?
All purchases will be beautifully packaged in our luxury gift box.

Can you ship directly to my friend as this is a gift for her birthday?
Yes we absolutely can deliver to an address that’s different from the billing address. You can choose this option at checkout.

What is your returns and exchanges policy for online purchases?
Please see our returns page for information about our policy.

Are you able to repair the jewellery or resize it if it doesn't fit?
All Jamie London designs come with a 12-month guarantee, so we will happily repair any damaged items for you as long as the damage happens under normal circumstances of wear. We will also resize the jewellery for you if it is too big or too small. Items to be repaired are free within 1 year of purchase. Over 1 year is subject to a repair fee which will be subject to material availability and the nature of the repair

Would you make me a custom made piece of jewellery if I wanted?
Yes. At Jamie London we offer a bespoke service. There is nothing more exciting than a unique piece of jewellery made just for you. Once you have contacted us, you will be sent a confirmation email of your bespoke order, including the estimated delivery time. Orders can only be processed until we have received the payment in full. Please be aware, that because bespoke orders are custom made especially for the customer, we do not offer any refund or exchange for these orders. This will be outlined in the confirmation email, and you will have to reply in agreement to this. If you would like to have something made, or have any bespoke enquiries please contact the studio. We will be more than happy to help you and look forward to working with you to create the jewellery of your dreams.

Do you have any sales or special events?
Of course, everyone loves a sale. We hold our exclusive boutique days when we open our studio to the public and you are welcome to come to these specials days, otherwise strictly by appointment only. Please take a moment to sign up to our mailing list, to be informed of any sales, promotions or upcoming events.

How should I care for my jewellery?
See our page about caring for your jewellery for more information.

What are the metals used for the jewellery?
The beautiful charms we use are sterling silver or 18ct gold plated. The base metal used is mainly pewter or sometimes brass. Some of our pieces are oxidized to create a unique antique finish. Our chains are quality sterling silver or 24ct gold plated on base metal (usually brass or copper). Not forgetting the different antique finishes, for that perfect vintage look.

What if I have any allergies?
If you are prone to any allergic reactions from wearing gold plated or sterling silver plated necklaces, you need not worry. Just for you, we can replace the back of the necklace (the part that touches your skin) with suede or leather using the Jamie London bespoke service. Additionally, I you can choose to have the chain replaced in a precious metal. This also applies with earring hooks.

Where is Jamie London jewellery made?
All of our jewellery is hand made with love in our North London studio. All orders are hand-made, and we individually select the finest semi-precious stones and crystals to make your jewellery beautiful. All stones vary slightly in size and colour, therefore may not be to exact, but even more gorgeous!
